1942-S 10¢ WDDR-001

Description:  Doubling shows on the left leaves and small branches, the lower right leaves, the left star, and slightly on some of the letters in EPU, ONE, and DIME.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Three short die scratches run NNW from the top of the D in GOD.  Two nearly parallel die scratches run from north to south to the left of the lips and chin.  Reverse:  The reverse is also an RPM that is listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1942-S 10¢ WRPM-005.  It is an S/S Southwest.  A short die gouge protrudes from the top left of the 2nd S in STATES.  A short, heavy die scratch runs NNE from the bottom right inside of the C in AMERICA.

Comments:  CONECA lists the RPM as RPM #5, but they have not listed the reverse doubled die.

Description:  Doubling shows on the bottom left leaves and small branches.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short die gouge connects the upper U and S in TRUST.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found above the O in ONE.  A die gouge can be found at the rim above the R in AMERICA.
