1961 50¢ Pr WDDO-001

Description: A close Class II spread towards the center shows best on the B and R of LIBERTY.  Lesser doubling appears on some of the other letters of LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found between the tops of the T and R in TRUST.  A die gouge can be found at the rim below the first T in TRUST.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found on the top left side of the N in UNITED.

1961 50¢ Pr WDDO-002

Description:   A close Class II spread towards the center shows on IGWT and very slightly on LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Two short, vertical die gouges can be found near the rim between GOD and WE.  Reverse:  A die gouge touches the top of the center horizontal bar of the E in AMERICA.

Description:  A close Class II tripled spread towards the center shows best on the L, I and E of LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short, vertical die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the R in LIBERTY.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the lower R in LIBERTY.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the F in OF.

Description:  A Class V CCW spread from a pivot at about 6:00 shows best on the L and E of LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge runs south from the bottom left side of the G in GOD.  Reverse:  A short, vertical die gouge can be found to the left of the top of the 2nd A in AMERICA.
