2004 1¢ WDDR-101

Description:  Doubling shows on the lower right side of the 6th Memorial column to the left of the upper legs of the statue.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found north of the left side of the B in LIBERTY.  Die pitting can be found to the right of the lower I of IN.  A die scratch runs NE from just under the bridge of the nose.  A die gouge can be found well east of the nose.  A die gouge touches the top of the 1st zero.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found inside the lower 1st S of STATES.  A small die gouge touches the bottom left of the 2nd S in STATES.  A die gouge can be found inside the bottom of the 2nd A in AMERICA.  A die gouge can be found to the right of the last Memorial column.  A strong die gouge can be found to the right of the lower T in CENT.  Die pitting can be found between the dot and the P in EPU.  A die gouge can be found inside the lower N in CENT.

Description:  Doubling shows on the central right side of the 6th Memorial column to the left of the statue.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found above the IB in LIBERTY.  A die gouge can be found between IN and GOD.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found inside the lower A in STATES.  A small die gouge can be found between the N and T of CENT.  Two parallel die cracks can be found at the top of the 1st column.

Description:  A partial extra column can be found between the right side of the bottom of the 6th Memorial column and the upper pedestal and legs of the statue.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found below the R in TRUST.  Reverse:  Die chips can be found at the top of the first two Memorial columns.  A short die crack runs NNE from the top of the 4th column.  A small die chip can be found on the upper 12th column.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found on the center front of the forehead.  Reverse:  A die gouge protrudes from the bottom left side of the 6th column.  A die gouge can be found to the left of the top of the 1st column.  Die cracks run down the first two columns.

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s knees.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 2004 1¢ WDDO-002.  A spread to the NNW shows as notches on the lower left ERTY of LIBERTY and the upper left underside of the horizontal bar of the T in LIBERTY.  Extra thickness also shows on all of the letters of LIBERTY and on the date.  A short, strong die gouge runs southeast from the lower right W of WE.  A die gouge (dot) is in the field north of the 2 in the date.  A small die chip can be found on the top of the second zero in the date.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the right of the lower N of CENT.  A die crack shows on the right cornice.  A die crack shows at the top of the third column while another extends ENE from the third design curl above the third column.  Die gouges (dots) can be found to the left of the center of the E in ONE and inside the lower N of ONE.
