On the letters of WE the spread is also CCW. Extra thickness can be seen on the letters of LIBERTY. Three die scratches extend SW and SSW from the underside of the ear. A short die scratch runs SW to NE to the right of the upper lip. Two parallel die scratches run NNW to SSE to the right of the beard and well north of the 1 in the date. Multiple N/S die scratches in the field below and to the left of the G of GOD.
