1941-D 10¢ WDDO-001          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  A Class V CW spread is seen on the RTY of LIBERTY, the outermost wing feathers, the hair ion the lower back of the head, the designer’s initials, the bottom of the bust, IGWT, and the LIB of LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short curving die scratch can be found west of the eyebrow.  A NNW/SSE die scratch can be found to the left of the nose and the upper lip.  Reverse:  The reverse has doubling from the doubled working hub listed as WWHR-001.  A Class II spread is seen on STATES OF AMERICA, the top of the axe, the uppermost leaves and berries, the right star, EPU, and DIME  A die scratch runs from the center of the E in ONE to the top of the mintmark.
