Description:  A Class V CCW spread shows on the date, the designer’s initials, and the RTY of LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Numerous thin die scratches can be seen between IGWT, the chin, and the neck.  Reverse:  Numerous die scratches can be seen in the right field.  A die scratch can be found below the ICA in AMERICA.

Description:  A spread towards the center shows on the date, the designer’s initials, and IGWT.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A:  Weak parallel die scratches can run SW from the forehead.  Obverse Stage B:  The dies clashed and the obverse die was heavily abraded.  Die clash remnants can be found at the top of the throat and along the nose and forehead.  Reverse Stage A:  A die gouge can be found to the right of the upper T in UNITED.  Reverse Stage B:  The reverse die was heavily abraded.  The die gouge to the right of the upper T is still visible.  Numerous N/S die scratches run through the olive branch and leaves on the left side of the fasces.  Strong die clash remnants can be found north of EPU.

Description:  A close spread towards the center shows on the date.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found to the left of the B in LIBERTY.  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the lower lip.  Three die gouges can be found between the lower back of the head and the Y in LIBERTY.  Numerous die scratches can be found throughout the obverse.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the left of the lower E in STATES.

Description:  A strong spread towards the center shows on the date, the designer’s initials, and the ERTY of LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Parallel die scratches run east from the upper I in LIBERTY.  A short die scratch runs NW/SE to the left of the lips.  Reverse:  Strong die clash remnants run through the left olive branch and leaves.  A die scratch runs SW/NE above the first U in PLURIBUS.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A mall die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the upper 9 in the date.  Reverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found inside the lower A in STATES.

1944 10¢ WDDR-001

Description:  Very light extra thickness and a spread toward the center shows on all the letters around the rim, EPU, all the dots, all the stars, the bottom of the fasces and the leaf tips.  Best doubling can be seen on the N of ONE and the bottom of the fasces.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Die scratch NW from left center of the R in LIBERTY.  Reverse:  Long die gouge east from the right lower side of the fasces running through the top of DI and to the M of DIME.
