Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous horizontal and parallel die scratches can be found between GOD and the bottom of the chin. Reverse: A die scratch runs from north to south to the left of the leaves that can be found to the right of NIT in UNITED. Parallel die scratches run from SW to NE to the right of the leaves that can be found to the left of the ERICA in AMERICA. A short die scratch runs NE from the top of the I in PLURIBUS. 1945-D 10¢ WDDO-004 “Best Of” Variety Description: Slight doubling shows on the date and is easiest to see on the horizontal crossbar of the 4. Die Markers: Obverse: None significant. Reverse: The reverse has a repunched mint mark listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-D 10¢ WRPM-003. It is a D/D Northeast. Die Markers: Obverse: Parallel die scratches run from SSW to NNE to the right of the lower back of the bonnet. Reverse: A die gouge can be found just to the right of the U in UNITED. 1945-D 10¢ WDDR-002 Description: A close spread towards the center shows on the lower left leaves and branches. Die Markers: Obverse: A short vertical die gouge can be found above the bonnet well to the left of the R in LIBERTY. Reverse: The reverse is also an RPM that is listed in the Wexler RPM files as 1945-D 10¢ WRPM-013. It is a D/D Tilted (Rotated).
