2005-P 25¢ OR WDDO-001

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington's earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None noted.  Reverse:  A horizontal die scratch can be found under the 1st zero in 2005.

2005-P 25¢ SF OR  WDDR-001   Satin Finish

Description:  A strong spread to the north shows on most of the upper branches of the tallest tree.  Doubling also shows below the high points of the upper shoreline of Crater Lake.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die crack runs through the upper designer's initials.  Reverse:  A short, diagonal die scratch can be found to the right of the largest branch on the bottom right side of the tallest tree.  A small die gouge (dot) can be found above the left side of Wizard Island.

2005-P 25¢ PF OR WDDR-002   Satin Finish

Description:  A spread to the east shows at the top of the short tree while a spread to the north shows on many of the central branches of the tall tree.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found on the upper ribbon of the queue.  Reverse:  None noted.

2005-P 25¢ SF OR WDDR-003   Satin Finish

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of the right end of Wizard Island.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Two small die gouges can be found at the start of the hairline ESE of the eye.  A die crack runs through the upper JF.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found above the small trees on the lower shoreline.

2005-P 25¢ SF OR WDDR-004   Satin Finish

Description:  Doubling shows above the three lowest branches on the left side of the short tree.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None noted.  Reverse:  Heavy die gouges can be found NW of the E in EPU.  Die pitting can be found above some of the small trees on the lower shoreline.  A strong die gouge can be found above the right side of the R in CRATER.

2005-P 25¢ OR WDDR-005

Description:  Doubling shows above the second lowest branch on the left side of the short tree.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short die crack runs across the front tip of the base of the bust.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the 2 in 2005.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the tall tree well NNE of the DW.

2005-P 25¢ OR WDDR-006

Description:  Doubling can be found below the right end of Wizard Island.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A:  A strong die gouge can be found below the T of UNITED.  A die gouge can be found between the upper S and T of STATES.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the 2nd S in STATES.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the upper 1st A in AMERICA.  A die crack runs through the upper designer's initials.  Obverse Stage B:  A long die crack runs across the base of the bust.  A heavy die chip runs through the upper JF.  Reverse Stage A:  A die gouge can be found to the right of the lower 1st O in OREGON.  A die gouge can be found between the middles of the 2nd zero and the 5 in 2005.  Reverse Stage B:  Two die gouges can be found to the left of the central branches of the short tree.  Die scratches runs from WNW to ESE below the TER of CRATER.  A die crack arcs from SW to NE through the upper left end of the upper shoreline.

2005-P 25¢ OR WDDR-007

Description:  Doubling shows to the left of the top of the short tree and also below the top left branch of the short tree.  A strong spread to the north also shows on several on the central branches of the tall tree.  Doubling also shows below the high points of the upper shoreline of Crater Lake.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found above the left side of the U in TRUST.  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the top of the P mint mark.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the left of the center of the E in OREGON.

Description:  Doubling shows on the bottom right end of Wizard Island.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found northeast of the N of IN.  A small die gouge can be found below and between the T and R of TRUST.  A small die gouge can be found below the left side of the U in TRUST.  A die gouge can be found near the rim to the left of the bottom of the D in DOLLAR.  Reverse:  Small die gouges can be found below the T and E of CRATER.  A small die gouge can be found just to the left of the bottom of the 2nd tallest tree.  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the top of the 1st U in UNUM.

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of the right end of Wizard Island.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A strong, horizontal die scratch can be found at the top of the inside of the O in OF.  A die scratch can be found inside the top of the A in QUARTER.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the left of the tree which is north of the 2 in the date.  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the left tall tree.  A die gouge can be found in the field between the lower branches of the two tall trees.

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of the right end of Wizard Island.

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of the right end of Wizard Island.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Die gouges can be found between the R and U and between the U and S of TRUST.  Two die chips can be found on the lower part on the upper ribbon of the queue.  Die chips can be found at the bottom of the long ribbon of the queue.  A die crack runs across the front tip of the point of the bust.  Several die chips can be found on the lips and chin.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found south of the right side of the A in CRATER.  Two small die gouges can be found near the top left side of the tall tree.

2005-D 25¢ SF OR WDDR-005   Satin Finish

Description:  Doubling shows on the bottom right end of Wizard Island.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found north of the left side of the D mint mark.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found touching the top right side of the 2nd zero in 2005.  A die gouge can be found inside the upper 5 in 2005.  Parallel die scratches run between the bottom of the 2 and the bottom of the 1st zero in 2005.  Parallel horizontal die scratches run between the bottom of 2 in 2005 and the tops of the U and R of PLURIBUS.  A die scratch connects the lower R and I of PLURIBUS.

Description:  The top of the shorter tree shows a spread to the east.  The tall tree shows doubling on the underside of the first branch on the left side of the tree and below the land formation.
