Description:  A close spread SE shows on the date while a close spread towards the center shows on IGWT and LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The die markers will be different for each of the affected working dies.  Reverse:  The die markers will be different for each of the affected working dies.

Description:  A strong spread NW shows on IGWT, the dots, UNITED, HALF DOLLAR, and the right side of the bell clapper.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The die markers will be different for each of the affected working dies.  Reverse:  The die markers will be different for each of the affected working dies.

Comments:  CONECA has not listed this variety as a doubled working hub and has listed a number of the working dies as different varieties.  The same working hub doubling affected the reverse of the 1948 D-Mint half dollars.
