1954-S 10¢ WRPM-001

Description: S/S/S Northwest and South

Die Markers: Obverse: Old die dent at the rim at 3 o'clock. Die scratches extend NW from the chin and lower lip. Die scratches extend SW from the brow. Short die scratch extends N from the forehead. Two die gouges E and S of the die dent at the rim. Reverse: N/S die scratches through the lower olive and the L in PLURIBUS. Die scratches extend N from the upper olive leaves. Strong N/S die scratches to the right of the flame. N/S die scratches along the lower right side of the torch. Die gouge below the mintmark.

Comments: Per John Bordner's notes, he knew of 2 die stages for this die. These stages were not photographed or described, and no other records of them can be found. They are replaced with the current die stage of the same die, If additional die stages are found in the future, they will be added to the listing.











1954-S 10¢ WRPM-002

Description: S/S East. Secondary mintmark in the torch.

Die Markers: Obverse: Die chip (dot) above the upper lip. Reverse: Die chips (dots) above the right upper olive leaves. Short NNE/SSW die scratch right of center from the flame.
