Description: 1/1898/8. Repunching to the south on the 1 and to the north on the last 8.

Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack extends E from the front tip of the bust. Strong E/W die scratch on the forehead. Strong NW/SE die scratches behind the ear. Small die gouge between the ends of the ribbon. Die gouge at the rim above the right side of the T in UNITED. Die gouge at the rim above the RI in AMERICA. Reverse: NW/SE die scratch above the right oak leaves. Strong NW/SE die scratches through the lower right wheat grains.
