2005-P 25¢ KS WDDO-001

Description: Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack through the designer's initials. NE/SW die crack on the nose. N/S die crack on the mouth. Die chip on the chin. Small die cracks in the queue. Die gouge in the hair just below the knot of the queue. Reverse: Die gouge to the left of the 1 in 1861. Die gouge above the L in PLURIBUS.

2005-D 25¢ KS WDDO-001

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found just to the left of the D mint mark.  A die crack runs across the left end of the base of the bust.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the K in KANSAS.  A small die gouge can be found inside the lower N of KANSAS.  A die crack runs from north to south above the bison’s nose.  A die chip can be found near the midpoint of this die crack.
