1925 1¢ WDDO-001

Description:  An extra eyelid shows SE of the main eyelid.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die scratch shows in the lower B of LIBERTY.  The 1 and 9 of the date show mechanical doubling.  A die scratch extends SSW from the lower right 5 in the date.  Reverse:  Short die scratches extend southwest from the upper C of CENT.  Two short die scratches extend SW from the center horizontal bar of the E in CENT.  A die scratch connects the upper left horizontal bar of the T of CENT to the top of the vertical bar of the T.

Description:  An extra eyelid shows below the main eyelid.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short die gouge protrudes from the bottom of the first T in TRUST.  A short die scratch runs NE from the bottom of the bowtie.  A die scratch curves east from the lips.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs NE from the top of the T in CENT to the tip of the right wheat ear.  A short die scratch runs SW from the left side of the center horizontal bar of the E in CENT.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Die scratches can be found near the rim above GOD WE.  Reverse:  Die scratches can be found to the left of the N of ONE.

Die Markers:  Obverse:   Several die scratches run WSW/ENE through the ERTY of LIBERTY.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs from the top of the O in OF to the bottom of the U in UNITED.
