2006-D 1¢ WDDR-001

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short die gouge runs ESE from the top of the upper lip.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the right of the lower T in CENT.  A short, horizontal die crack can be found on the roof above the 2nd column.

2006-D 1¢ WDDR-002

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s legs.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None noted.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the D in UNITED.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the lower last column.

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue and the upper pedestal.  An extra leg shows between the statue’s legs.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found below the bottom of the 6.  Parallel die scratches run SSE from the bottom of the 9.  A die scratch runs south from the bottom of the B in LIBERTY.  Reverse:  None noted.

2006-D 1¢ WDDR-004

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue.  An extra knee shows between the statue’s knees.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None noted.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found at the statue’s left hand.  An E/W die crack runs through the bottom of the BUS in PLURIBUS.  Die chips can be found at the tops of the 1st and 2nd columns.  A die crack runs NNE from the rim through to E in CENT.

2006-D 1¢ WDDR-005

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue and the pedestal.  Both of the statue’s legs are doubled on the left side.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found below the right side of the 2nd zero in the date.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the mint mark.  A small die gouge can be found well north of the 6 in the date.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found inside the lower N in ONE.

2006-D 1¢ WDDR-006

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s knees.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found south of the left side of the D in GOD.  A die scratch runs NNE from the top of the back of the beard ending to the right of the lower lip.  Reverse:  Short, vertical die scratches can be found above the N and the I of UNITED.  Numerous die scratches run WSW from the bottom tip of the left Memorial base.  A small die chip can be found on the bottom left L of PLURIBUS.  A die crack runs from SW to NE at the top of the 1st Memorial column.  A die chip can be found on the top left side of the 2nd Memorial column.

Description:  Extra knees can be found above the statue’s knees.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None significant.  Reverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the left of the upper T in CENT.

2006-D 1¢ WDDR-008

Description:  Doubling shows on the lower right side of the 6th Memorial column to the left of the statue’s legs.  An extra knee can be found to the left of each foot.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short vertical die gouge can be found in front of Lincoln’s hair curl.  Reverse:  A die crack and small die chip can be found running along the left side of the upper first column.  A fine E/W die scratch connects the upper wreath medallions above the tenth and eleventh Memorial columns.
