1931-D 10¢ WDDO-001 Description: A Class II spread towards the center shows on the date, the letters of IGWT, the designer’s initials, and the Y of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: Two die scratches extend NW from the top front of the wing. V-shaped die scratches can be found above the D in GOD. 1931-D 10¢ WDDO-002 Description: A light Class II spread towards the center shows on the 1 of the date. A better example may show doubling on the remainder of the date, the designer’s initials and IGWT. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs from north to south between the rim and the bust at about 6:00. Die scratches run from NE to SW between the rim and the W of WE.
