1918-D 5¢ WDDO-001          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  A hub with the 1918 date was used to make an impression in a working die with the 1917 date creating a 1918/7 variety.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die crack runs from the braid ribbon to the jaw.  Reverse:  None noted.
