1925-P,D,S 5¢ WMDO-001          Doubled Master Die

Description:  Doubling shows on the left side of the ribbon and on the left side of the lower braid.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Die markers will vary with each working die.  Reverse:  Die markers will vary with each working die.

Submitted By:  Bill Van Note

Cross References:  CONECA: MD-1-O-IV

Comments:  Because this doubling traces back to the master die, all coins for this date should show the indicated doubling.  There may seem to be slight differences in the doubling from coin to coin, but these differences will be due to hub, die, and coin wear and abrading of the dies.
