2013-P 25¢ MD WDDR-001 "Best Of" Variety
Description: Doubling spread to the west shows on the lower half of the bottom firework spray. Doubling also shows on the left side of the three small windows above the arch.
Die Markers:Obverse: Die pitting can be found inside the D in UNITED. Two die gouges can be found below and between the T and R in TRUST. A die gouge can be found under the right side of the U in TRUST. A die gouge can be found above the A in DOLLAR. Reverse: None significant.

Description: Doubling spread to the east shows on the lower right half of the spray from the upper firework burst as well as the bottom right inside of that burst. Two of the lower stripes in the flag extend beyond the left edge of the flag.

Description: Doubling spread to the south shows on the bottom of the arch, the bottom of the three windows above the arch, and along the roof line. Slight doubling shows on the bottom right spray from the lower firework burst.

Description: Doubling shows on the left side of the wall to the left of the right window, the roof north of that window, the left side of the bottom stripe of the flag, the right and bottom sides of the doorway, and very slightly on the lower right firework spray.
Die Markers:Obverse: Die gouge above the left side of the R in LIBERTY. Die gouge between the A and T in STATES. Two small die gouges between the lower A and R in DOLLAR. Reverse: Die gouge above the firework spray pointing to the HE in McHENRY.

2013-P 25¢ MD WDDR-007
Description: Strong extra thickness on most of the reverse
design. Extra thickness is especially noticeable on the spray from both
firework bursts, the frames of the three windows directly above the arch, and
the designers initials.
Die Markers:Obverse Stage A:
A die gouge can be found in the right inside of the C in AMERICA. Die gouge
below the right side of the N in UNITED. Die gouge in front of the chin Obverse
Stage B: Die gouges below the N and in front of the chin abraded away. Die
gouge inside the C weak but still present. Die gouge below the I in AMERICA.
Die gouge touches the left side of the A in QUARTER. Strong die flow line
extends SE from the U in TRUST. Obverse Stage C: Same as Stage B. Reverse Stage A: Slight die
deterioration doubling in the upper firework spray. Reverse Stage B:
Strong die deterioration doubling in the upper firework spray. A curved die
crack at the center of the lower firework burst. Die gouge in the central
window above the archway. Reverse Stage C: Die crack at center of the
lower firework burst developed into a die chip. Die chip between the two
farthest SE sprays of the lower firework burst. Die crack and pre-die break
depression on the left side of the two farthest S sprays of the lower firework
burst.

Comments: Some Stage B examples are known with strong machine
doubling to the east on the lowest firework sprays and the windows above the
archway. Like the die deterioration doubling visible on most die stages, this
is unrelated to the doubled die.

Description: Doubling spread to the south shows on the bottom of the arch, the bottom of the three windows above the arch, the roof above the windows, and along the roof line to the right of the windows and the arch.
