Die Markers:Obverse: A small die gouge can be found just above the right side of the mint mark. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1968-S 25¢ Pr WDDR-001. A strong Class I CCW spread shows on USA, EPU, QUARTER DOLLAR, and the wreath.

Comments: CONECA lists the doubled die reverse but does not list the RPM. The doubled die reverse is also in The Cherrypickers’ Guide where it is listed as FS-25-1968S-801 (027). Again there is no mention of the RPM. Values for these would be based on the doubled die variety.
