Die Markers:Obverse Stage A: N/S die scratches through the E of LIBERTY. Die gouge through 9 just below upper loop. Die crack upper forehead east through hair. Obverse Stage B: Die scratch through the E of LIBERTY is weaker. Die crack across the base of the bust. Reverse Stage A: Die scratches SE from the right side of the left lower inner leaf. Reverse Stage B: New reverse die. The reverse is an RPM listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1946-S 25¢ WRPM-002. It is an S/S West.

Die Markers:Obverse: Two strong parallel N/S die scratches can be found to the left of the upper nose and the lower forehead. Reverse: A short strong die scratch runs NNE from the top of the O in DOLLAR.
