Description:  A spread towards the center shows on USA where the spread increases from left to right, the left and right bases of the Memorial, the designer’s initials, and the letters of ONE CENT where the spread is the strongest.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die scratch runs north from the top of the B in LIBERTY.  Parallel die scratches run from SSE to NNW above the R and T of LIBERTY.  A die gouge can be found to the left of the O in GOD.  A nearly vertical die scratch can be found in the field to the right of the nose and lips.  Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the obverse.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs WNW from the upper left of the C in AMERICA.  A die gouge can be found just above the right base of the Memorial.  A vertical die scratch can be found near the center of the last bay.  Numerous die scratches run from SW to NE through the CE in CENT.  A doubled clash mark runs from the bottom left of the Memorial to the top left of the N in ONE.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse is also a doubled die variety that is listed as 1964 1¢ Pr WDDO-037.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found inside the upper C of CENT.  A light die scratch runs from NW to SE inside the upper C in AMERICA.  A small die gouge can be found below and between the I and C in AMERICA.

Description:  A spread towards the center shows on USA, the left and right bases of the Memorial, the designer’s initials, and the letters of ONE CENT.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die scratch runs W/E below the chin.  Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the obverse.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs SSW/NNE between the first T and the A in STATES.  Remnants of a strong die clash with heavy abrading scratches can be found above the right end of the Memorial roof.  Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the reverse.

Description:  A strong CW spread from a pivot at about 10:00 shows on the letters in OF AMERICA, the IBUS of PLURIBUS, the designer’s initials, the lower right Memorial building, and the letters of ONE CENT.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1964 1¢ Pr WDDO-146.  Doubling shows under the horizontal crossbar of the L in LIBERTY  Reverse:  Two short vertical die scratches can be found above the right side of the C in AMERICA.
