1999-P 25¢ DE WDDO-001

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found under the lower horizontal crossbar of the F in OF.  A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the bottom of the E in AMERICA.  Die scratches extend northeast from the top of the G in GOD.  Reverse:  A die gouge protrudes from the underside of the left diagonal of the M in UNUM.  A small die gouge (dot) can be found between the bottoms of the last two 9’s in the date.

1999-P 25¢ DE WDDO-002

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short die gouge extends south from the lower right underside of the diagonal of the N in UNITED.  A small die gouge can be found below and between the bottoms of the E and R of LIBERTY.  Reverse:  A die crack runs from the top of the 1 in 1787 to the bottom of the A in DELAWARE.  A die scratch runs from the top of the 1st E in DELAWARE to the rim.  Die gouges can be found below the A of STATE.  A die crack runs from the L of PLURIBUS to the rim.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None significant.  Reverse:  None significant.

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the left of the center of the D mint mark.  A small die gouge (dot) can be found inside the lower left U of TRUST.  A die scratch runs from north to south inside the top of the S in TRUST.  Reverse:  None noted.
