1957-D 25¢ WDDR-001          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  Doubling shows as extremely strong extra thickness to USA, EPU, QUARTER DOLLAR, and the wreath.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die crack curves through the upper one in the date.  A die crack runs across the base of the bust extending into the lower ribbon.  A large die chip can be found on this die crack.  Reverse:  A die crack runs through the IBUS in PLURIBUS and down the eagle’s left wing below AMER in AMERICA.  A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing.
