2005-P 25¢ CA WDDO-001

Description:  Very minor doubling shows on the front underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None significant.  Reverse:  None significant.

Description: Very minor doubling shows on the front underside of Washington’s earlobe.

2005-P 25¢ CA WDDR-001

Description:  An extra tree south of the eagle juts out from the top of the others.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Small die gouges can be found below the right side of the U in TRUST and to the right of the top of the P mint mark.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the O in CALIFORNIA.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the lower 5 in 2005.  Two parallel, horizontal die scratches run just above the letters of YOSEMITE.

2005-P 25¢ CA WDDR-002

Description:  Extra trees south of the eagle jut out from the top of the others.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found to the left of the lower U in UNITED.  A small die gouge can be found below the right side of the R in TRUST.  Reverse:  A die chip can be found inside the bottom loop of the 8 in 1850.  A small die gouge can be found above the top left side of the M of YOSEMITE.  A short die crack runs NE from the front of the rim of John Muir’s hat.  A pre-die chip depression can be found above the top front of the hat.  A pre-die chip depression can be found at the top right side of the granite headwall.  A pre-die chip depression can be found at the bottom right side of the granite headwall.
