1971-S 25¢ Pr WDDR-002

Description: A close spread towards the center shows on QUARTER DOLLAR, AMERICA, and the branches.

Die Markers: Obverse: Multiple die gouges around the LIB in LIBERTY. Die gouge NE of the mintmark S. Die gouges right of WE. Reverse: Die gouge at the bottom tip of the eagle's right wing. Die gouge between the E in EPU and the wing.

1971-S 25¢ Pr WDDR-003

Description: A close spread towards the rim shows on USA (strongest on AMERICA), EPU, and the eagle's head. Lacks some of the noticeable split serifs on EPU that WDDR-001 has.

Die Markers: Obverse: Die scratches on the rim above the TY in LIBERTY. Die gouge left of the L in LIBERTY. Reverse: Die gouge between the leaves above the LA in DOLLAR.
