Description:  Doubling shows on the bottom of Sergeant William Jasper’s coat.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found inside the O of GOD.  Reverse:  A short vertical die gouge can be found between Sergeant Jasper’s upper legs.

Description:  Very minor doubling shows on the bottom of Sergeant William Jasper’s coat.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die chip can be found on the base of the bust north of the R in QUARTER.  A die crack runs through the designer’s initials with a die chip to the left of the designer’s initials.  Reverse:  None significant.

Description: Doubling shows on the bottom of Sergeant William Jasper’s coat.

Die Markers: Obverse: Thin NW/SE die scratches through the RTY in LIBERTY. Large die gouge touches the upper right corner of the W in WE. Small die gouge SW of the designer's initials JF. Reverse: Thin die crack across the flagpole above the shoulder. Thin die crack on top of Jasper's left arm. Thin NE/SW die scratches in the field right of Jasper, strongest at the bottom of the coat.

Description: Doubling shows on the bottom of Sergeant William Jasper’s coat.

Die Markers: Obverse: Weak die gouge far above the G in GOD. Reverse: Die breaks on the right side of both sails. Die break on Jasper's shoulder. Numerous die breaks on top of Jasper's left arm. Long die crack along the left side of the flag to a die chip at the bottom of the crescent. Die chip on top of Jasper's hat. Small die gouge in the middle of the field below Jasper's hands.

Description: Very minor doubling shows on the bottom of Sergeant William Jasper’s coat.

Die Markers: Obverse: Thin die crack through the designer's initials JF with die chips on the J and right of F. Die gouge inside the Q in QUARTER. Die gouge inside the upper opening of the N in IN. Die gouge below the right side of the N in IN. Weak die scratch from the rim through the M in AMERICA. Reverse: Parallel die cracks along the flagpole and the left side of the flag with a die chip at the shoulder. Die crack with numerous die chips on the top of Jasper's left arm. Die crack from the top of the hat to the outer ring. Large die gouge just below Jasper's right hand.
