A die gouge extends from under the right side of the first U in
PLURIBUS. Die flow lines run from the left side of the Memorial building into
the UN in UNITED.
Comments: This
variety was originally listed by CONECA as RPM #6, but was delisted. Additionally, the exact same coin was later
re-listed by CONECA as RPM #13, where it remains as the current listing. The original CONECA coin was submitted by
Delma K Romines; see carbon spots left of lower mint mark and above mint mark. Photos of the RPM #6 listing can be seen in The
