Description: A light CCW spread from a pivot at about 11:00 shows on IGWT and LIBERTY.

Die Markers: Obverse: Will vary among the different working dies that were affected. Reverse: Will vary among the different working dies that were affected.

Comments: Placed in use partway through 1971 and remained in use through all of 1972. It can be found on coins of all three mints.

Description: A strong Class V CCW spread from a pivot at about 10:00 shows on IGWT, the date, LIBERTY, and the upper hair details. Some tripling also visible on IN.

Die Markers: Obverse: Short die gouge on the earlobe. Concentric die scratches on the rim below the date and TRUST. Reverse: None noted.
