1870 $1 WDDR-001

Description: A close spread towards the center shows on ONE, USA, and IGWT. STATES is also spread slightly CW. Strong doubling also shows on the eagle's upper right wing feathers, his right leg feathers, and close doubling shows on the eye.

Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge above the T in LIBERTY. Reverse: Short parallel die gouges just left of the top of the W in WE.
