Because of the limited number of Seated Liberty 50¢ Doubled Die varieties, they will all be illustrated on this single page.  If the list should ever expand significantly, the varieties will be assigned to pages based on their date and mint mark as is done with other denominations and series.

1869-S 50¢ WDDR-001

Description: A light spread toward the center shows on HALF DOL.

Die Markers: Obverse: Die chip on the upper point of the upper left-hand star. Reverse: Die clash beginning from the lower area of the left-hand banner and ending at the stem of the lower laurel blossom.

Comments: Re-tooling of the die shows throughout the reverse letters but in no way are related to the doubling.
