Comments: This die was paired with seven different reverses, which are not listed by the Wexler files.  These are listed by CONECA as DDR-001, DDR-002, DDR-011, DDR-013, DDR-016, DDR-018, and DDR-023.  These are listed by Flynn as DDR-001, DDR-004, DDR-006, DDR-007, DDR-016, DDR-020, and DDR-022.

1870 1¢ WDDR-002

Description: A Class V spread from a pivot at about 3:00 shows on on ONE CENT, the lower wreath, the left side of the wreath, the left side of the shield, the upper right wreath, and the denticles from 6:00 to 12:00.

Die Markers: Obverse: Die clash marks in field to right of profile. Die clash between lower feathers. Reverse: Die crack from rim at 3:00 SW to upper arrowhead. Vertical die crack through outer right leaves between 2:00 and 3:00. Die crack SSE to NNW through upper right wreath.
