2005-P 25¢ WV WDDO-001

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die crack runs along the base of the bust and through the designer’s initials.  A die chip can be found on the front tip of the bust.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found SE of the T in WEST.

2005-P 25¢ WV WDDO-002

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found above the W in WE.  A die crack runs along the base of the bust and through the designer’s initials.  A die chip can be found above the J in JF.  Reverse:  A heavy die crack runs south from the bottom right of the reverse design to the rim.  A heavy die crack runs from west to east along the bottom right of the reverse design and then out to the rim.
