Description:  Doubling shows below the L in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found just to the right of the top of the I of IN.  A short, nearly horizontal die gouge can be found above the 7 in the date.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found on the lower C in CENT.

1967 1¢ WDDO-002

Description:  Doubling shows below the L in LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short, horizontal die gouge can be found below the B in LIBERTY.  A die gouge can be found to the right of the vest south of the 9 in the date.  Reverse:  A short vertical die scratch can be found to the right of the upper I in AMERICA.

1967 1¢ WDDO-003

Description:  Slight doubling shows on the left side of the top of the second T in TRUST.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short, vertical die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the S in TRUST.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs west from the top right of the T in CENT.

1967 1¢ WDDR-001

Description:  A close Class II spread towards the center shows on the designer’s initials and the bottom right of the 2nd A in AMERICA.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Two short die scratches run WNW from the top left of the R in TRUST.  A short die scratch runs north from the top right of the bowtie.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs south from the bottom of the Memorial to the top left of the N in ONE.  A die gouge can be found SW of the U in UNITED.

1967 1¢ WDDR-002          "Best Of" Variety

Description:  A Class V CW spread from a pivot at about 7:00 shows on the letters of ONE CENT, USA, EPU, and the left side of the Memorial building.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None noted.  Reverse:  A short die gouge runs north from the top of the 2nd T in STATES.  A horizontal die scratch can be found at the top of the 6th bay.  Two parallel die scratches run from SSW to ENE through the top of the 10th and 11th bays.

Description:  A close Class II spread towards the center shows USA, ONE CENT, and on the designer’s initials.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Numerous die scratches run WSW/ENE to the right of the lower profile.  Two parallel die scratches run SW/NE below the Y in LIBERTY.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs WSW/ENE through the lower first two Memorial bays.
