Description:  An extra eyelid can be seen just below the normal eyelid.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A:  The obverse is also an RPM variety listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-S 1¢ WRPM-006.  It is an S/S South.  N/S die scratches at the neck.  N/S Die scratches in the field behind the neck.  N/S die scratches above the TY of LIBERTY.  Die scratch in Lincoln’s nostril.  Obverse Stage B:  Thin die crack at the right edge of the lower 4 running through the 5 continues east to the rim.  Die gouge to the lower left of the W of WE.  Obverse Stage C:  Same as Stage B.  Reverse Stage A:  Die chip on the left edge of the F in OF.  Die chip to the right of the right wheat stalk.  Reverse Stage B:  Second Reverse.  N/S die scratches on most of reverse.  Strong die scratch to the left of the T of CENT.  Scratch to the left of the U of UNITED.  N/S die scratch running from the N of ONE to the N of CENT.  N/S die scratches inside the C of CENT.  Reverse Stage C:  Small die scratch on the bottom edge of the left wheat stalk tail.

Description:  An extra eyelid can be found below the normal eyelid.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse is also an RPM listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-S 1¢ WRPM-036.  It is an S/S East.  Numerous die scratches running north & south to the left of the back of the head.  Die scratch running north in front of Lincoln’s lips continuing and ending above the eye.  Reverse:  Numerous die scratches running north & south on entire reverse.

Description:  A close Class II spread towards the center shows on the tips of the left wheat lines and the tops of the letters in EPU.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse of this variety is an RPM listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-S 1¢ WRPM-005.  It is an S/S Northeast.  Die scratches run from NNW to SSE through the 19 in the date.  Reverse:  A strong die clash mark shows between the lower C and E in CENT.  North to south die scratches run through the UN of UNITED.
