1987-D 1¢ WDDO-001          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  A moderate spread towards the center shows on the date.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A V-shaped die scratch can be found above the mint mark.  Numerous north to south die scratches can be found to the right of the profile.  Reverse:  A short SW/NE die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the O in ONE.  A die scratch runs from the center bar of the E in ONE to the upper left C of CENT.

Description:  A CW spread from a pivot at about 3:00 shows on LIBERTY.
