2007-D 1¢ WDDR-001

Description:  A partial extra right arm can be seen just below the statue’s right arm.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found to the right of the mintmark.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found inside the upper U in UNITED.  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the upper T in UNITED.

Comments:  This is a replacement listing.  The original listing was a “wavy steps” variety and these are no longer believed to be doubled dies.








2007-D 1¢ WDDR-002

Description:  Extra thickness shows on the letters of EPU, the dots, the Memorial roof details, and the statue of Lincoln.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge can be found inside the upper G of GOD.  Two small die gouges can be found inside the 1st zero in the date.  A short, diagonal die gouge can be found just below the D mint mark.  A die gouge can be found in the field well east of the nose.  A die gouge can be found in the field well NNE of the 7.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found between the lower I and T of UNITED.  A die gouge can be found below the bottom of the left side of the A in STATES.  A die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the 2nd A in AMERICA.  Die cracks can be found at the tops of the first three columns.  A die crack runs down the lower left side of the E in CENT and out to the rim.

Description:  Doubling shows on the lower left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s legs.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found below and to the left of the I in LIBERTY.   Two small die gouges (dots) can be found north of the E in LIBERTY.  Reverse:  A N/S die crack and small die chip can be found running along the left side of the upper first column.
