1965 25¢ WDDO-001          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  A Class IV spread to the south shows on LIBERTY, IGWT, the date, the eye, the top of the head, the hair details on the back of the head, and the queue.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short die scratch runs south from the nose.  Reverse:  A die crack runs from the upper right E in AMERICA through the upper R to the rim.

1965 25¢ WDDR-001          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  A Class II + VI spread to the center shows on USA, QUARTER DOLLAR, EPU, the back of the eagle’s head, the outer part of the eagle’s left wing, the leaves, and the branches.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die scratch runs NNE from the front of the eyebrow.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs from the upper left C in AMERICA to the rim.  A die scratch runs NNE from the bottom of the L in PLURIBUS.

Description:  A Class I CCW spread shows on USA, QUARTER DOLLAR, EPU, and the lower leaves.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die scratch runs from SSW to NNE to the left of the upper 5.  Reverse:  None significant.
